The article compares the effectiveness and outcomes of two robotic hysterectomy systems in early-stage endometrial cancer patients. Conducted at Sapporo Medical University, the study involved 84 patients and found that while both da Vinci Xi™ and da Vinci SP™ are safe and effective, the da Vinci SP™ system offers significantly shorter operative times. This retrospective analysis revealed no significant differences in patient demographics or intraoperative complications between the two groups. The study concluded that robotic hysterectomy without lymph node dissection is a viable option for patients with early-stage endometrial cancer, highlighting the efficiency of the da Vinci SP™ system. Further research is suggested to explore long-term outcomes and potential benefits of these advanced robotic systems.
